Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between men's financial obligations and domestic violence in family life, which is the most important part of the life journey of human beings that begins in heaven and continues on earth, has been investigated. There are many factors that affect the family institution at all stages. Religious values, customs, social environment, applied laws, educational status and economic conditions are some of these factors. Although these factors that affect the family make positive contributions to the family, they also cause domestic violence from time to time. Studies examining domestic violence are discussed under different headings such as "domestic violence", "violence between spouses", "violence against children in the family", "violence against women" and "femicide". Our study, in which we investigated the effects of economic problems on domestic violence, consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction part of the study, information about the purpose, importance, method and problem situation of the research is given. In the first chapter, the definition of family, its importance and types are given. Besides, in the Quran and In the life of the Hz.Prophet, there are provisions about the family. In addition, the definition of violence, its types and causes, together with the view of the Islamic law to violent events and their responses in the current legal system are discussed. In the second part, the definition of the financial responsibilities of men, which started with marriage in Islamic law, their evidence, amount, types and effects on violence are discussed. In the conclusion part, the measures that individuals and the legislator should take in order to prevent behaviors that may cause domestic violence are evaluated in terms of Islamic law and some suggestions are discussed.
