Religious music rituals in history and arts: A case of Cretan (Crete) Bektashism

In this doctoral thesis titled Music Rituals in the Field of Islamic History and Arts: The Case of Cretan Bektashism, includes the examination of cultural values related to the music and worship rituals of Cretan Bektashis, one of the Muslim-Turkish communities that have existed on the island of Crete since 1650. In the first chapter titled "Institutional/Conceptual Framework and Historical Perspective", basic terms and concepts were tried to be matched with the Cretan Bektashi community. In the second part, Bektashi religious leaders, traditional vocalizations and musical elements in local communities, and in the third part, the findings of post-migration belief and music elements are evaluated.
