Abstract (EN)
It is argued in literature that organizational citizenship behavior has been emerged as a result of not only individual but also and organizational factors. This study aims to examine the effects of job satisfaction – as an individual factor, and corporate entrepreneurship- as an organizational factor, on the organizational citizenship behavior. The survey of this study is conducted on 596 employees of 100 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), operating in manufacturing industry in Marmara region of Turkey. The obtained data from the questionnaires are analyzed through the SPSS 15.00 Statistical Packet Programme. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analyses are used to evaluate the data. Analyses results revealed that (1) job satisfaction has a direct and positive relation to organizational citizenship behavior, and (2) job satisfaction mediates the effect of the corporate entrepreneurship on the organizational citizenship behavior. The mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between the corporate entrepreneurship and organizational citizenship behavior has been examined for the first time in this study.
