Abstract (EN)
Ceramic is an eight thousand years old custom that has been born in Anatolia. Its history is as old as human being?s. Throughout the history it turned up in various forms and within different civilizations. Sometimes they appear as clay, sometimes as a special pot, sometimes as an ornament or a toy, even as an instrument.Human beings discovered ceramic?s shape to be available to sound transmission previously and they began to use it as an instrument in private and religious ceremonies. In selection of this study, ?Whistling ceramics and new hypotheses?, production and rooted history of ceramic pots with pipe from BC 500 to AC 1522 when Spanish occupied Peru, in high regions, central and northern coasts of Peru became effective and detailed inspections was performed. Moving from this point, by forming a synthesis between formal properties of ceramics of Çanakkale that goes back to early 17th century and whistling ceramics of Peru, an authentic and empirical study was performed. As a result of these empirical studies, besides whistling hypotheses of original Çanakkale ceramics, some new hypotheses and production of authentic ceramics were performed as well.
