Abstract (EN)

During his twenty-five years of academic life, İsmail Çetişli has come to the fore with his publications and researches that he contributed to Turkish literature as well as his academic identity. Purpose of the study; To conduct a research that includes biographical information about İsmail Çetişli's life and to reveal the methodologies and schools of thought Çetişli used in his books and articles in periodicals. In the research that will be done for the first time about İsmail Çetişli, first of all, the unknown aspects of the author's life have been tried to be clarified. The books that Çetişli brought to Turkish literature were introduced and examined. The articles were evaluated in the relevant subject title according to the integrity of the subject. The tags of the articles are classified in terms of content. Semiotics, linguistics, folklore, stylistic, etc., which come to the fore in the works written by Çetişli, are examined. In this study, the personalities, events, periods and methodologies he used in his works were revealed. In addition, it has been tried to determine the points where the interdisciplinary approaches between literature-history, literature-geography, literature-psychology, literature-sociology, which Çetişli resorts to while bringing these subjects to life, are reflected in the work-period, work-space, author-period and author-work relations. In this context, when we examine the works of Çetişli, it is understood that he does not only work in the field of New Turkish Literature, but sometimes he is a critic against literary works, sometimes a linguist and sometimes a theorist. Çetişli is a researcher who has adopted Turkish literature and has an idea about domestic and foreign sources in literary theories and practices.
