Inter-religions dialog is a much debated question all over the world since the 2nd Vatican Council. The neccessity of this dialog is one of the main reasons for the debate. Researchers from each religion has tried to . Also Muslim researchers showed interest to the subject and suggestes many opinions regarding the dialog form both the positive and negative points of view.The aim of this research is to identify the responses of Ismail Raci el-Faruki who is considered to be one of the important contemporary thinkers in terms of being able to master both eastern and western culture and also follow the contemporary discussions about the ?inter-religion dialog? debate.TThe questions of that Faruki?s responses will be considered are:a) How does Islam consider other religions?b) How were the relations between the believers of Islam and the other religions during the Islamic history?c) How should the ?dialog? be defined? Which rules should be followed? Which subjects should be concentrated on?For this research, Faruki?s own articles and some of his books about the subject are studied. Only his ideas are tried to be presented avoiding the discussions about the debate.The results of the corresponding framework are as follow:Islam consideres all religions? essences unique and same. There are many prophets, some of whose names are mentioned in the Koran or not, sent by God. The essence of revelation that is sent to human beings via the prophets has never been changed. The reason lying behind of existance of many religions is that the perception of these revelations, sent in an adaptable form for each society, differ from one society to the other.Hz. Muhammet founded an Islamic state in Medina. In this state, people were started to recognized not by their tribe or ancesters but by the religion they belong to. Each religious society was considered as a seperate community and this Islamic state was the unifying community for these groups. In this state each community made their own decision according to their religious beliefs and they were fighting together against the exterior attacks. Everybody were free to worship according to their beliefs and no one was threatening others? properties or lives, and all the blessed were protected diligently.Dialog is a transfomation which is not to any religons, customs, traditions or a political regime but to an truth. There are several points that should be taken into account during the construction of dialogue which are that the declarations should be seperated from the critics, the internal consistency should be preserved, appropriate historical perspective should be selected, there should be coherency with the truths, the absolutised truth claims from the holy book should be excluded, and finally dialogue should be applied in the areas which ease its occurance. The main themes of the dialogue should deal with the relation of human and innocence, the necessity of the consciousness for obeying the orders of God, the salvation which is only based on human-self and achievable any time and under all circumstances.
