ISO 9000 quality guarantee system and a field practice

In the 20th century, there has been a revolution at economy just like technology and industry. The economical rules, that endure for centuries, had to be changed. Quality has become one of the most important element of today?s economical values. With a general definition, quality means suitability level of aim. Today quality not just rule the economy, but also shape our lives. Nowadays, everyone determines their quality conditions and adjust their lives to them. Accourding to the view of the companies, quality carries big importance too. It?s not enough to just provide quality, but it?s an obligation to make the systems of the quality and endure them. The most easiest way of providing them is to use prepared quality systems and fit for them. ISO, which is the International Standardisation Organisation?s quality certificate, is the most well known quality system in the World. ISO certification system had been started to used in 1987, and revisioned in 1994 and 2000. The 2000 revision?s most important characteristic is the change from quality guarantee system to quality management system. In this study, it?s aimed to reserch ISO?s 2000 revision , to reveal the problems that had been endured by the companies which settled around Malatya Organised Industrial Devision, and to determine the needs and demands of the companies which uses ISO 9000 for the probable future revisions that ISO plans to make.
