Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to examine the new version transition processes and performance evaluation of ISO 9001: 2015 and IATF 16949: 2016 Quality Management System standards, which are internationally recognized standards in automotive supplier firms. In the continuation of the study, it is aimed to compare the performance of another enterprise that does not implement new version standards with the same indicators and Balanced Scorecard Method. The population consists of two sub-industries that supply products to main manufacturers, especially in the automotive sector. In the research, in which qualitative research design was used, the analysis and data collection process were completed simultaneously with document review and interview methods. 14 interviews with three top executives of the company, whose transition process was examined, were conducted by semi-structured interview method. 3 semi-structured interviews were also held with top executives who were compared with their performance named second firm. The data obtained were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. During the analysis, all implementations that should be used for transition to new version standards were determined and exemplified specifically for the automotive industry. Requirements for GAP Analysis, SWOT Analysis, PESTLE and PRIMO-F methods, Risk Analysis, Internal Audit and Management Review Meetings were determined and applied to the company. The performance of 419 propositions determined while applying the methods was evaluated and the improvement rates were reported. The effect of the improvements made on the business performance was measured with 24 performance indicators. The new version did not switch to the standards and the performance of the first supplier was compared with another one that did not apply the said methods, and the improvement rates were calculated. As a result of the analysis, while there were a total of 362 (88.5%) propositions that were initially evaluated with 5 likert scale as 1, 2 and 3 out of 409 propositions determined by the methods applied during the transition period, a total of 406 (99.2%) were defined as 4 and 5 after the improvements made. It has been determined that the said applications have a positive effect on the increase of firm performance. The 24 indicators followed for the performance evaluation of the company whose transition process was examined were classified according to the Balanced Scorecard dimensions and a positive improvement was detected in 22 indicators. It was found that there was no significant change in the Supplier PPM and Sample delivery performance indicators before and after the study. In the last part of the study, the positive improvements in business implementations with these methods have also been found to have a significant effect on performance compared to a business that has never applied these methods and has not completed the revision transition. 22 performance indicators belonging to the company whose transition period was examined showed better performance than the company that has never applied these methods. Sample Delivery Performance and Excess Freight Number in Shipment indicators, the realizations of both companies are at the same rate and in a positive situation.
