Determination of agricultural structure and mechanization situation in Atabey district of Isparta province

Abstract (EN)
This research has been conducted to establish database determining agricultural structure and mechanization level of farms in Atabey district of Isparta province. The stratified sampling method was used to determine the number of sample villages and farms. There are 627 farms with in centre districtand 6 villages. Using the Neyman method, 125 sample farms were determined for researches. Researh Datas were obtained from 125 different farms by face to face questionnaires and special observations. Research datas from questionnaires covers for the period of 2016 production season. According the research results; average farm size, number of parcels per farm and parcel size were found 96.56 da, 27.42 units and 3.52 da, respectively. The ratio of total field crops sown area was about 83.73 % in the farms and the highest value was about 48.51 % for the barley area. The number of tractor per farms surveyed in this research was found to be 0.88, the number of agrıcultural machinery per farm was 7.06 and the number of agricultural machinery per tractor was 7.95. In this research area. The average tractor power was determined as 42.12 kW, tractor power per cultivated area (ha) was 3.87 kW/ha, the number of tractor per 1000 ha was 91.96, cultivated area for each tractor was 10.87 ha.
