Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the journal recorded in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ataturk Libary no: Yz_K_0233 according to the systematic classification project of the journals. The journals which have an important role in reaching the texts of classical Turkish literature are indispensable sources for literary researchers in terms of both reflecting the literary taste of period and revealing unknown poets or poems not included in diwans. These texts, created by educated persons, may be either poetry or prose or may be mixed with poetry-prose. The manuscript text which is the subject of our study is also mixed with poetry-prose. The text between sheets of 1b-71b writing in Arabic alphabet was translated into the Latin alphabet by transcription method. The poems of poets in journal was compared to printed diwans. The differences between these poems and poems that are not included in the diwan of poets are shown in the footnotes. The Turkish meaning of the Arabic parts in the prose sections in journal are stated in the footnotes. The verses of the Qur'an, which are in prose sections, are also mentioned with number and name of verses and their Turkish meanings. In the result, It is identified 44 poets and 157 poems belonged these poets. These poems are composed of various forms of poetry such as ghazal, qasida, verse. Parts of the prose in jornual consists of texts containing various religious informations. Key word: journal, classic, literature, poem, prose.
