The research of filled areas on istanbul shore in recreational usage in aspects of plannig the model of İstanbul Avcılar

In the whole work, the concepts of environment, shore, shore place, shore filling area, recreation are defined in aspects of institutional and conceptual way. It is aimed to set this conceptual and institutional basis, which is obtained during the work, to a locational system and give example about it. Also some close relationships have been formed with the shores in the past. As the filling works continue today and lots of application projects are prepared, Avcılar Shore Filling Area has been chosen as a model. Except the conceptual frame which is prepared by scanning lots of native and foreign resources related with the concepts of environment, shore, shore place, shore filling area and recreation, a questionnaire in Avcılar Shore Filling Area is made by the random selection method interviewing the users face to face at different times on week day and weekend. With this questionnaire, the desires and troubles of the people living in Avcılar and in its surrounddings about the shore filling area have been defined. The matters and suggestions for solution which are defined in the conclusion part as a result of the questionnaire, aims to constitute a resource and clarify the arrangements which will be made about the Avcılar Shore Filling Area. With the post-graduation work, the negative effects of urbanization and decreasing of green fields are defined. Furthermore, the importance of plannings made by filling the shores for recreation and arrengements of shore is described in aspects of both shore ecological balance, naturel structure and humanity.
