School culture at secondary school of İstanbul and teachers? organizational socialization

In this study, it is aimed to investigate if there is an association between high school teachers? perception of culture in their schools and their perception of organizational socialization. For the purpose of this research a previously developed questionnaire (composed of demographic variables, organizational values scale and socialization scale) is used. Then, parametric independent group t-test, ANOVA and post-hoc LSD test are used to find out whether there are significant differences of perception of teachers. For association between the organizational values and socialization scales, Pearson product moment correlation statistics is used.As a result of our study, we found out that teachers? perception of organizational values and their perception of socialization process are closely and significantly associated.Key Words: Culture, Organizational Culture, Organizational Values, Socialization, Organizational Socialization.
