Application of motifs which are present in İstanbul's historical peninsulas historical fountai?ns on jewelery techniques

In this study we focused on all sorts of pencil works and stone ornaments which were used in Istanbul peninsula?s historical fountains.These figures included geometric, plant like and animal illustrated motifs which were widely used in all kinds of ornaments and compositions.They were emphasized because we wanted to help the usage of all of these again.Historical fountains in historical İstanbul peninsula constitute our study?s care. Examples were taken from motifes which were present on fountains in the historical peninsula region.Within the study we searched for some fountains of the historical peninsuala and drew some drafs and soma of them were turned into final designs.Ajur, filigre, enamel and some other techniques were used.At the and of the study we interpreted soma motifes which were used in traditional hondicraft arts.
