The transcription text and Classification of the Poem Journals numbered as "T 3819" in the library rare books of İstanbul Universty According to project of systematic classification of poem journals (MESTAP)

Magazines that are among the important sources of classical Turkish literature, provide information about the poetry understanding, literary taste, aesthetic taste and many other features of the period in which they were collected. Journals are also very important for our literary history in terms of their contribution to identifying the poems of a poet that are not included in Divan or the poems of poets whose names are not mentioned in other sources. The subject of this study is the translated text of the poetry journal registered as number "T 3819" in Istanbul University Rare Works Library and its classification according to the Systematic Classification of Journals Project (MESTAP).There is no information about the copying and scribal history of the journal. Considering the centuries in which the poets whose poems are included and the biographical records about the poets are taken into account, it is estimated that the journal was compiled in the 16th century. There are 58 different poems of poets in this poetry magazine which is consisted of 89 leaves. Among these poets, the poet who has the most poems is Bâkî. Most of the poems were written in ghazal verse. The poems in the journal were compared with the published divans of the poets and the differences between them were shown in the footnotes.
