Abstract (EN)

Journals are among the important sources of classical Turkish literature with their rich content. The number of this kind of studies, which have very different examples in our libraries, is increasing day by day. The subject of this research is to make a classification according to the translated text of Mecmu'a-i Es'ar which is recorded in TY 1724 archive number in İstanbul University Rare Books Library and The Systematical Classification Project of Poetry Journals (MESTAP). There is not any record related to compositor and the date of collection in the journal. It can be said that the journal was formed in 18th century in consideration with the centuries including the poetries of poets, the biographical records related to the poets and the historical couplets which are gotten. The journal has 946 poetic and prosaic texts in total belonging to 196 poets mostly as belonging to 16th century. The first chapter of our study covers the information on the general characteristics and importance of journals. The second part introduces the journal, the subject of our study, and gives information about the shape features such as number of poets and poems, verse forms and measure, and information about the content of the journal. Poets who have poems in the journal, verse forms and the rhythm used are shown in tables. In the third chapter, the translated text of the poems in the journal is given after the method to be followed in the creation of the text is determined. The poems of the poets with divan were compared with these divan copies, and differences were determined. Some poets' poems or missing couplets not found in their divans were identified and stated both in the footnote and the examination chapter. In the fourth section, the poems in the journal were classified according to the Systematic Sorting Project of Journals (MESTAP). In the fifth chapter, the study was completed with results, the bibliography and index of poets.
