Özet (EN)

İstanköy, rich in a number of historical monuments, is an important centre and the most of the buildings it has are belonged to Otoman period. It is understood that most of these architectural works have not been examined throughly yet. With the aim of fulling this gap, we intented to carry out a study named ?Turkish Period Buildings according to histoical documents?. First of all, the data from the publications and historical documents gathered. Then after examining the buildings in the city center and confirming them via taking photographs, each was identified with a systematic catalogue and evaluted by comparing to determine their places in Turkish Art History. One can easly understand that İstanköy is rich with an architectural point of view. Thus, in our study, 39 historical buildings such as mosque, turbe, bath, şadırvan, and foundation are determined and the whole of them are examined. The studied buildings belong to a wide range of time from 16. century to 20. century . While most of them are situated alone,, Lonca Mosque and Yenikapı Mosque have some other buildings around. The buildings around are determined with the helping of the historical documents and supposed to have been built as Külliye. In our study related to the Turkish Architectural Traces in İstanköy, it is found out that the buildings in the area have lost their originality because of having been destroyed by the natural disasters such as earthquakes and by the people around. In our study the historical documents were gathered, the buildings were confirmed and indentified with systematic catalogues and we tried to evaluate their values in art history. The main purpose of this study is not just to identify the buildings in İstanköy from the scientific point of view but to attract attention to save, recontruct and make them live for generations.
