Statistical quality control technics and applications

For this goal univariate quality control charts are used for controling one quality characteristic, multivariate quality control charts are used when there are more than one quality characteristic. Though determining the source of the off-control condition in univariate quality control is easy, it is difficult in multivariate quality control. For this reason it is necessary to use certain special technics. Mason- Young-Tracy decomposition technic is one of these technics and this is shown in an application.
