Risk perception and control of the fire employee relations focus on research: The case of fire in İstanbul

This study aims to reveal the relationship of risk perception and locus of control of fire took place in Istanbul Fire Department employees. The study sample Bayrampasa, Bakirkoy, Fatih Fire Chief with working in them due to the fire station consists of 345 personnel. The study calls for data collection and excitement internal-external locus of control scale were used. At the same time firefighters in the literature section of this study, concepts such as the fire brigade firefighter, risk perception, concepts such as locus of control have been identified with the concepts explored. According to the results obtained from the study excitement internal-external locus of control scale search and exposure to work-related accidents during the mission it does not differ significantly according to the level. low sensation seeking victims of occupational accidents than would be expected, is expected to be high internal-external focus. However, the results obtained from this study indicate that there is no difference.
