Reputation management: Research on hotel busineses in Çanakkale

Competition between companies becomes harder over day due to rapidly grown technologies. There are lots of companies in the same market with similar products or services to reach potential clients and consumers, and new companies enter to those markets every day, which is resulted with increased numbers of competitors in the existing markets.Developments on production technologies in global world forced companies to create difference on their products or services. The most important and vital value of such same kind of hotels is their corporate reputation, since competitive advantage against same kind hotels can be respected by means of higher prestige, which makes that hotel preferable and trustworthy by customers. In order to have higher reputation or in other words to be preferable or trustworthy required to be different than competitors in wide fields such as but not limited to have better product quality, better service quality customer based service strategies, convenient human resources for those activities, responsibilities for customers and society, etc.In this study hotel industry in Çanakkale territory is evaluated in terms of corporate reputation, components of reputation.Key Words: Reputation, Corporate Reputation, Reputation Management, Hotel Industry
