Abstract (EN)
In this study, polyselenophene and polythiophene were synthesized on copper, platinium and ITO electrodes in ionic liquid environment. The synthesis of conducting polymers was utilized with cyclic voltammetry technique. The electrochemical characterization of the films were done. For this purpose, the film capacities and permability values were obtained. The structural characterization of these polymer films was investigated by using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy and surface morphology of the polymer films were characterized by SEM. The water uptaking behaviour with time of synthesized polymer films on copper electrodes was realized with Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy technique in diluted Harrison Solution. UV-Vis spektrofotometry technique was used to estimate the band gaps of polyselenophene and polythiophene films.
