Abstract (EN)

Inner Bay of Izmir's water quality, municipal wastewater treatment system in 2000 to operate in parallel to pass, to the healing process has entered. In this study, the effects of treatment and to see the level of contamination; four stations from the sea water and M.galloprovincialis samples, a year in terms of microbiological were followed by counting fecal coliform bacteria. Sea water analysis ?Membrane Filtration? method is done with, recommended faecal coliform bacteria were found on values. In M.galloprovincialis calculated colony forming unit in total bacteria. Analysis faecal coliform bacteria ?Most Probable Number? has been made with methods. Even the limits values. The highest value were in Passport Pier, the lowest values were in Uckuyular Pier. The high-level mole in Passport Pier obstacle is considered to be factors. Vary according to month level of faecal coliform bacteria. Increasing temperature and organic matter production, in the spring and summer months to cause an increase in all stations. Fall and winter months, the number has fallen. Despite this high value to get a Passport Pier, the indicator regions are contamination waste. As a result, wastewater treatment systems in the sea water quality ?acceptable? level are kept. Limit values, due to intense population pressure into the environment ?of the fugitive? indicators. About research; E.coli and Enterobacter aerogenes are recognized.
