Abstract (EN)
The purposes of this master?s degree thesis named the potential of Izmir?s faith tourism in terms of travel agencies are to search whether the city Izmir has enough tourism supply which would provide international tourism movement with it?s point of view and to evaluate the perspectives of travel agencies based in Kuşadası to the subject.In the first part of this research, the informations about alternative tourism subject, it?s varieties and the faith tourism as a part of alternative tourism type; in the second part, the potential of Izmir?s faith tourism are given. As for the third part, a questionary form is applied to evaluate the perspectives of travel agencies in Kuşadası.
