Izz ibn Abd al-salam's method in his commentary

In this thesis, titled ?Izz Ibn Abd Al-Salam and His Method in the Commentary? Izz Ibn Abd Al-Salam (577-1181/660-1262), his works and his commentary were examined from the different aspects. Here, from the Holy Quran, tafsîr, hadîth, dictionaries and biography sources were benefited. Our study consists of an introduction and two chapters.In the introduction, the aim and the method of the thesis were analyzed.In the first chapter, the Izz Ibn Abd Al-Salam?s life, his works, general features of his tafsir and it?s soerces were examined.In the second chapter, Tafsiru?l-Kur?ani?l-Azim was examined from the view points of al-Tafsîr bi?l-Rivâyah and al-Tafsîr bi?l-Dirâyah.Finally, the results that got from this thesis were explained.
