In this study, the life and work of Jascha Heifetz and George Gershwin have been examined, and their contributions to 20th-century music have been presented. In the first chapter, the problem of the research has been presented within the general context of 20th-century music, then the purpose and importance of the research have been explained, followed by limitations, methodology and data sources. In the second chapter, Jascha Heifetz's violin playing style and the violin school he created have been explored, along with his contributions to the violin repertoire as a composer. The third chapter examines the major works of George Gershwin. In the fourth chapter, the intersection points between Jascha Heifetz and George Gershwin have been highlighted, and Jascha Heifetz's Gershwin-transcriptions have been analyzed.
