Abstract (EN)

In this work suicide fact, which takes place in the three novels of Austrian author/philosopher Jean Améry described as a "residuum/vestigial" and as victim of concentration camp established during the World War II was analyzed in the context of developed suicide theories and typologies. In the introduction information about life, literary perception and reflections on the literary world of Améry were given and the convenient method used in this work was expressed. In the first chapter, which consists of three subtopics the suicide fact, which has quite complex structure was related with other disciplines. Besides, the thoughts of Améry, who developed a theory about suicide were examined thoroughly. The reflections of presented suicide arguments on the works of Améry consists of the second chapter of our work.In the conclusion the changing background of suicide was found out in the compared novels of Améry, who is victim of the ideology of National Socialism and concentration camps described as the products of this ideology.
