Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to reveal the relationship between the (expected) ego states that the cabin crew members require during their flight operations with the crew and the passengers, and the level of coherence of the ego states that they perceive (observed) with the cabin crew members' hopelessness toward the future. The sample of the research is located in the province of Istanbul; government and private airline companies. In addition, members of the cabin crew are required to mark the features they are aware of. However, members of the cabin crew were asked to evaluate the Beck Hopelessness Scale according to occupation. Within the scope of the study, the significance level of all data was tested at p <.05 level. Analysis of the obtained data was done using SPSS 22.0 statistical package program. In relation to this, it was found that there was a significant level of mismatch between the members of the Cabin members perceived by themselves and the dominant ego situation they perceived in the profession. The finding that the levels of hopelessness of cabin crew members differed according to gender and educational status variables.
