Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate how the burnout levels of cabin crews affect organizational commitment and work performance. Research covers domestic airline companies operating in Turkey. Relational scanning method was used as research method. The research was carried out by answering the questionnaire forms of "Demographic Form", "Burnout Scale", "Organizational Commitment Scale" and "Work Performance Scale" to 312 cabin crews in Atatürk Airport International and Domestic duty-free area. According to the results of the research; The general burnout and emotional exhaustion levels of the cabin crews were found to be moderately determined, and the levels of personal depersonalization were lower than the average. In the study, it was determined that the emotional commitment of cabin crews was high. The normative commitment of the cabin crews is above the middle and the continuation commitment is moderate. The performance of the cabin crews was found to be high. The hypothesis tests did not reveal any difference according to gender and whether or not to work before. A significant difference was found according to the variables of age, marital status, education, job position and working years of the cabin crews. Correlation and regression analysis of cabin crews showed a significant relationship. At the end of the study, suggestions were developed for increasing the organizational commitment levels and working performances of cabin officers and reducing burnout syndrome.
