Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the hairdressing salons' ergonomic eligibility by the employees and to determine the problems they face while working. The study was carried out with descriptive research method based on screening model. The questionnaire used in the study was prepared by the researcher, in order to assess the ergonomic eligibility of hairdressing salons by employees, consulting expert opinion. The target population of the study was created by hairdressing salons registered to association of hairdressers and barbers in provinces of the Black Sea region and it was sampled within 288 women hairdressers salons which was selected randomly from target population of the study. The data used in this study was collected through a written questionnaire developed by the researcher. The questionnaire consists of a total of 35 questions organized under the headings of personal information , work patterns, physical environment stressors, arrangment of work places, equipments and supplies. In the pilot scheme part of the study,66 different variables' validities ,measured by 4 point scale, were proven by the validity and reliability test (?=0.905). Real application was carried out in Trabzon, Ordu, Giresun, Rize Artvin, Samsun in April and June 2013 and validity of the data was proven again. (?=0.925) The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS 16.0 software package. The number and percentage value of the data was shown in cross ?tables according to gender factor of the employees. In this study ,on which ergonomic design of working places in hairdressers was made, it is concluded that hairdressers' working time is too long; they work until late; they are unable to take enough annuel leave therefore they get too tired; when each gender work individually for a long time and standing they get exhausted.
