Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to analyze a number of variables (rough birth rate, high education, rough marriage rate) which are estimated to have an impact on female labor force participation rate. The study is of great importance in terms of examining female labor force participation at two different levels (NUTS - 1 and NUTS - 2). Panel data analysis was preferred as the method. The data to be used in the panel data analysis was between 2009 and 2018 and was obtained from TURKSTAT. According to the findings, NUTS – 1 and NUTS – 2 level, As informal employment, higher education and male labor force participation increase, female labor force participation increases. Rough divorce rate variable is ineffective. Increases in the rate of rough marriage decrease the female labor force participation. Also, If rough birth rate increases, female labor force participation rate increase. The effects of higher education and rough marriage on female labor force participation are among the important findings of the model.
