Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the approach to judgments related to women in "etTahrir wa't-Tanwir" a significant modern-era exegesis by Ibn Ashur is examined. The thesis analyzes how Ibn Ashur interpreted verses concerning women and explores the implications of these interpretations within the frameworks of classical Islamic jurispudence and modern prespectives. The research aims to demonstrate how Ibn Ashur's views on judgments related to women provide a balance between traditional exegetical approaches and contemporary social, legal and societal needs. The first chapter discusses the exegete's general view of women in at-Tahrir wa't-Tanwir, based on verses from the Qur'an, considering their status in terms of gender and within the framework of moral principles. The second chapter analyzes rulings related to acts of worship specific to women. In particular, the exegete's interpretations on issues such as menstruation (hayd), postpartum bleeding (nifâs), irregular bleeding (istihâda) and women's veiling are evaluated. The third chapter explores İbn Ashur's approach to legal rulings concerning women.
