Abstract (EN)

Kafkas Magazine, a political, historical, andliterary journal, began publication in Istanbul in April 1954. While the magazine is the unofficial publication of the Kafkas Cultural Association, it is a continuation of Kafkas Magazine, which ceased publication in December 1953. Although İsmail Ziya Bersisis said to be the magazine's first owner, the magazine's inscription lists Şeref Terim, Mehmet Ketey, and İnal Şaplı as it sowners. Şeref Terim served as Editor-in-Chieff orallissues of the magazine. The magazine, originally planned to be published monthly, had issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10 published independently, while issues 8-9 and 11-12 were published as separateissues. The magazine, featuringvarious articles on the history and culture of the Caucasus, left a last ingimpression on people of Caucasian descent born in Turkey. Striving to bring together Caucasian immigrants from various professions, the magazine made a sign ificant contribution touniting the Caucasian diaspora in Turkey. This magazine, which published a total of 12 issues, was discontinued in May 1956 forvarious reasons.
