Özet (EN)
This study aimed to examine in depth the earthquake-related experiences of individuals who experienced the Kahramanmaraş earthquake and subsequently migrated to Kırşehir. The study was conducted using a phenomenological approach, a qualitative research design. Data were collected face-to-face using sociodemographic and semi-structured interviews between April 2 and June 10, 2024. The study sample consisted of 13 individuals who had migrated to Kırşehir. The snowball sampling method, a purposive sampling method, was used as the sampling method. The data were analyzed using MAXQDA 2024. As a result of the analysis, a main theme was derived under the title "post-earthquake experiences" and eight codes: needs, views on security, views on institutions, views on habits, psychological reflections, views on hygiene and cleanliness, problems encountered in accessing healthcare services, and preventive public health efforts. It was observed that individuals and their environments were negatively affected by the disaster.
