Study of Endohelminthes of fishes caught in Kalecik (Karakoçan-Elazığ) Dam Lake

Abstract (EN)
In this study, 108 Capoeta trutta Heckel, 1843, 96 Capoeta umbla Heckel, 1843, 158 Chalcalburnus mosulensis Heckel, 1843, and 106 Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758, caught in Kalecik Dam Lake were examined in terms of endohelminths. Five parasite species were found in 176 fish. Of these fish, Diplostomum sp. metacercaria (Trematoda) was found in eye fluid of Cyprinus carpio, Capoeta trutta, Capoeta umbla and Chalcalburnus mossulensis. Caryophyllaeus laticeps (Cestoda) was only found in the body cavity of Cyprinus carpio. Neoechinorhynchus rutili (Acanthocephala) was only found in the intestine of Capoeta trutta. Plerocercoid stage of Ligula intestinalis (Cestoda) and Bothriocephalus gowkongensis (Cestoda) were found in the body cavity of Chalcalburnus mossulensis.Keywords: Kalecik Dam Lake, Fish, Prasite, Endohelminths
