Quality function deployment and an implementation on producing sandwich

Production techniques have changed with two century from industrıal revolution to nowadays. Need for human power has been decreased by computer based production and design. The last period of the modern age is a period in which the demand is more in the center than the supply and deter- mine production. Quality Function Deployment is an implementation that centralizing the consumer demands and resulting in the satisfaction of these demands. With the QFD study, organizastions are able to understand consumer demands and organizations investigate how they will meet these demands. In QFD study, all the consumer demands are grouped and go to the end succesfully by correlations with the technical requirements. In the first part of this study, concepts such as work, work components,process, process management, process improvement are explained. In the second part the history of quality function deployment is given information. In the third part, QFD work done by creating a quality house in the production of sandwich is explained.
