Quality Function Deployment is an effective planning tool that is used to reflect the requirements of the customers to the production process. Importance and relationship evaluation which are the main inputs of the quality function deployment process are in linguistic attribute. In traditional applications these values are expressed in certain numbers.Fuzzy logic is an approach which is used to quantify the linguistic expressions that have fuzziness in its structure. It expresses the linguistic expressions with fuzzy numbers that reflects fuzziness inherent it. In this thesis study, for the linguistic evaluations of the Quality Function Deployment process, it is foresseen that fuzzy numbers are more appropriate than the certain numbers, and it is studied how the Fuzzy Logic approach is used in Quality Function Deployment process.In this study, in which a inclusive Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment model is developed, a new fuzification method developed for the importance evaluations of customer requirements and attitude eveluation of this reqirements. Developed model is presented with a application in Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences aimed at improving the quality in education. In the application, as well as fuzzy evaluation reults the evaluation results of certain numbers is also presented and this results compared with the results obtained from max membership and centroid defuzzificaion methods.
