Relationship between repetation of the test request and effects of quality applications to quality perception

ABSTRACTThis aplication aims clinic laboratories to be used in optimum conditions, by checking effects of quality applications to the unnecessary test request repetitions. And costs of unnecessary test request repetitions.This research has been done by evaluating the archive informations of Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Merkez Laboratuvar as retrospective beetween 2002-2012 years.While mesuring the test request repetitions, we used CA125 tumor which?s method confirmation, in-out quality control evaluation, total accaptable mistake has been done in Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Merkez Laboratuvar. And we compared the results of test request repetitions before 2007 with after 2007 with SPSS program. When we looked at the comparison we saw that the test request repetitions before 2007 are higher than the repetitions after 2007. In our research we have seen that quality applications decrease the test request repetitions and increase the trust of doctors to laboratory and decrease the costs of health sector. Beside all these due to standarts of 15189 satisfaction of clients is monitored so that this monitoring effects improvements in the laboratory .It is know that quality application costs are high in health sector. But when we look at the our research ISO15189 medical laboratory accreditation creates positive effect on costs of clinic laboratory where the accreditation is applied.Quality at clinick laboratories, ISO15189, Quality perception
