Abstract (EN)

Old Turkish Literature is an important reflection of our cultural history with its ancient past. It has conveyed the political and cultural events of every period it lived in to the future through written sources. Poets have contributed to our cultural heritage by competing with their mastery within this circle. Especially in the 16th century. The 19th century was a period that we can call the golden age of the Ottoman Empire in terms of politics, culture, and economy. There are names such as Baki, Fuzulî, Hayâli, and Zatî that we often hear from this period. In addition to these poets, there are also poets about whom we unfortunately have very little information. In this study, one of these poets, the Divan of Tetovo Mu'îdî, is examined. Based on the Kalkandelenli Mu'îdî Divan, published with transcription by Gülçin Tanrıbuyurdu, this study contains many idioms, formulaic expressions, and reduplications that will both serve as a source for Turkish cultural history and shed light on the past. Through the computer supported LEHÇEDİZ project, a very important legacy is coming to light again, especially for all generations trying to make sense of the century they live in. In all LEHÇEDİZ theses examined, words were given meaning, and words and phrases that could not be broken down were selected and combined to create a meaning. While examining the content and style of a literary text within the scope of the project, it was determined how it took shape or acquired different meanings according to the mentality of the period in which the poet lived. This study on the Mu'îdî Divan reveals the 16th-century word world and structure, and it will also be a source for future dictionary studies
