Abstract (EN)

In parallel with the rapid development in science and technology, the world has entered into the globalization process rapidly, resulting in increased competition. In order to ensure the sustainability of the institutions, it is necessary to keep the productivity at the upper level and the employees should not leave the institution. The power of the organization is proportional to the commitment of the employee to the organization. For this reason, the institution should provide employee motivation to prevent the employee from leaving the institution. Corporate loyalty and motivation concepts are frequently searched and discussed in the literature. Studies investigated in this context reveal that the end result of institutional belonging and motivation are two inseparable concepts, and they both seem to affect each other. In this respect, the importance of managers in terms of institutional belonging and motivation, the theories put forward by the researches, in accordance with today's conditions, knowing the expectations of employees and developing a rational and modern perspective about management and motivation have importance in terms of success and efficiency of the institution. In this study, it is aimed to determine the relationship between the corporate loyalty and motivation of the employees and to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference between the institutional commitment and motivation according to the demographic characteristics of the employees. In this research, 136 people working in İSKİ Kadıköy Branch Directorate were distributed, 135 participants were returned, 5 questionnaires were invalid and 130 questionnaires were evaluated. With the t - test, the corporate loyalty and motivational status were examined with variables such as age, educational status, income status, duration of employment and duration of work in institution. As a result, it is found that there is a high level of relationship between corporate loyalty and the variables and also high level of relationship is reached between the motivation and the variables.
