Comparison of motivation levels of public and private school teachers, example of Beyşehir district directorate of national education

In our study, the main purpose was determined as comparing the motivation levels of teachers working in private and public schools. Our study was carried out in the relational screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. From this point on, the universe of the study consists of teachers who are actively working in 3 private and 5 public schools operating in Beyşehir District of Konya Province in the 2024-2025 semester. The sample of the study consists of 217 teachers selected with the proportional cluster sampling method. As a result of our study, it was found that the motivation levels of teachers did not differ significantly in terms of external and administrative factors in terms of age, gender, length of time working in the same organization, and level of education, but they differed significantly in internal factors.
