The effect of using registered electronic mail in public and private sector on institutions' performance

Abstract (EN)

REM provides securing transmission of an e-mail, information about sender and taker, what the message is about, confirming of unrevised content by others and its transmission time by using e-signature and time stamp. REM is the only tool which provides sharing the e-document via electronic mail as legal, valid and technically reliable and provides real evidence about this process. This study aims to create ideas about the needs REM interested in and how to offer a solution to them and it aims to determine the effect of people who use the REM system on working life. Within this framework, a survey was applied on 325 people who use REM in public and private sector and was collected data. The convenience sampling method from nonrandom methods was used in this study. Besides it is aheuristic study, the data was analyzed by SPSS program; x-square (x2) analysis was applied among the independent categorical variables and crosstabs were made. According to the results, REM contributes to quick serving, reduction of work load, incrementation of productivity, lower paperwork, red tape and costs. By the way, REM provides exact, correct and valid information. Key Words: Registered Electronic Mail, Registered Electronic Mail Regulations, Electronic Signatur
