Abstract (EN)
The development of technology has brought many innovations to humanity. One of these innovations was the reinterpretation of the concept of public sphere with technology. The concept of new public sphere created by technology influenced individuals and caused changes in the size of social movements. Calling the concept of this new public sphere as a virtual public sphere and starting to be discussed is important to understand the social dimension of digitalization. Organizing events in masses of people in virtual public spheres has also led to the concept of digital activism and digital activist movements. In this study, the movements of women on digital platforms in the context of the transformation of public sphere are discussed. In this context, the use of the ınternet and the women's platforms and movements, which gained another dimension with technology, were examined. Digital Heels and 5Harfliler female platforms were chosen as the sample in the study. The websites and social media accounts of the platforms were analyzed with content analysis method and the change of women's movements with technology was analyzed. According to the data obtained, it is concluded that the technology positively affects the women's movements and it has been found that the virtual public spheres that emerged in this context are used efficiently in terms of women's movements.
