Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted at a University Hospital Blood Center. The activities of each unit in the Blood Center were examined in detail, and the processes in the Blood Center were transferred to the simulation model and modeled. Depending on the number of personnel working in each unit in the Blood Center, the experimental design for personnel occupancy and the data of the weekly Red Crescent orders were used to create the test quantities. From the experimental sets obtained from the simulation, the personnel occupancy formulas depending on the number of personnel, the destruction, maximum and minimum stock formulations depending on the Red Crescent order quantity were obtained by regression analysis. The formulas created by the regression analysis were included in the personnel optimization and weekly Kızılay order optimization mathematical models, and the optimum weekly Kızılay ordering quantities were found under the minimum personnel occupancy differences and the destruction, maximum and minimum stock constraints. The data obtained as a result of the weekly order quantity model were re-entered into the simulation and verified. Keywords: Blood Center, Simulation, Mathematical Modeling, Blood Products
