Özet (EN)
Leaving the wastes of poultry to the environment without processing, negativel y affects human and environmental health. The direct use of poultry wastes as fertilizer on agricultural lands without processing in villages both disrupts the soil structure and brings odor and pest problems together. These wastes to be used in agricultural lands must first be subjected to certain processes. These wastes have a high potential in terms of biogas content. However, the high nitrogen and salt in it's content cause the decreasing of biogas production. Biogas to be obtained from these poultry wastes is an important energy source. Inaddition, the continuous formation of these organic wastes puts this energy in the status of renewable energy. There is no risk of running out of renewable energies. In today's World where energy is of extreme importance, biogas energy is a good alternative to conventional energy sources. The aim of this study is to increase the biogas potential by mixing different wastes in order to obtain biogas from these wastes in the optimum way and then use the remaining pulp as fertilizer in agricultural lands. Studies to ensure the most efficient biogas production have been carried out in reactors with a volume of 1 liter, where fully mixed and anaerobic conditions were provided. In this research, which was carried out in 8 different periods, the amount of milk integrated plant waste was kept constant and a bioreactor setup was established in such a way that the amount of poultry waste was 0g, 1g, 5g, 10g, 25g, 50g, 75g and 100g, respectively. At the initial and end of each period, pH, solid material (SM), volatile solids (VS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen, orthophosphate, alkalinity and conductivity values were measured. The first period was made for the system to get used to and all values were measured in this period. Except for the first period when the poultry waste was introduced into the reactor, the pH remained at neutral levels in the other periods. The amount of biogas produced increased linearly with the increase of poultry waste in each period. Total solids (TS), solids (S) and conductivity values also increased linearly. Considering the problems experienced by the unconscious disposal of poultry waste to the environment, its high biogas content and its contribution to the energy needs of our country, the number of biogas facilities should be increased and biogas should be given due importance.
