The nurses have defined the death as function interruption physically while the patients and patient relatives have defined the good death as living without suffering. While the point average between the good death scale and the death attitude profile scale of the patients who participated in the study is higher than the patient relatives and nurses; patients and patient relatives have better thoughts about the good death. In the study, it has been found that good death scale point average of the married nurses are higher than the single ones (p<0.05). A statistically significant relation has been found between the ages, genders, marital status of patients and the fear of death, death avoidance, acceptable approach and the total scores of DAP-R scale (p<0.05). The clinical sub-dimension scale average of the patients and patient relatives who want to die in the hospital has been found higher than the clinical sub-dimension scale average of the patients who want to die at home. As a result of our study, patients' views about good death were found to be more positive, fear of death and avoidance behaviors were lower and meaningful.
