Abstract (EN)
The Relationship Quality of Life the Cancer Patients with Spirituality, Anxiety, Depression and Family Social Support Perception, (Master Thesis), Çankırı, 2022. This study was conducted by using descriptive and correlational design to research for relationship of cancer patients' quality of life with spirituality, anxiety, depression and perceived family social support. The participants were 304 patients who were taking oncology treatment in a hospital in Ankara. The data was gathered by using face-to-face data collecting method between 15th January and 21st May in 2022. In data collection process, Introductory Information Form, EORTC-QLQ-C30 Version. 3.0 Qaulity of Life Scale, FACIT-Sp-12 (Version 4) (Spiritual Well-being Scale), General Health Survey, (GSA-12) and Cancer Patient Social Support Scale (CPSSS) were used and analyzed with frequency and correlation analysis methods. The data, regarding intermediary role quality of life were analyzed by using SPSS. Intermediary role was tested with "Process Macro Analysis". According to results of the study, it was stated that social support perception had a positive-significant effect on spiritual well-being and was also determined the intermediary role quality of life partially. Furthermore, it was detected that social support perception had a negative-significant correlation with depression-anxiety and quality of life had a partial intermediary role. Finally, spiritual well-being had a negative-significant correlation with depression-anxiety and quality of life was found to have a partial intermediary role. In the life of these findings, it is suggested that anxiety level of patients should be considered and approaches related to the development of spiritual well-being and family social support perception should be implemented.
