Özet (EN)
Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is gaining recognition as the latest advance in molecular testing and its clinical laboratory applications. Thus, NGS techniques in liquid biopsy have been demonstrated to play emerging roles in cancer diagnostics in the manner of disease prognosis. And so, integration of liquid biopsy studies into the clinical laboratory applications of daily routine had become a necessity. By the virtue of liquid biopsy, the determination of the potential treatment targets rapidly through the metastasis and the primary tumor sites in the right clinical context resulting a more comprehensive treatment is possible. It also helps to overcome the re-sampling difficulties that require an invasive procedure with the problem of tumor heterogeneity. However not only the literature in liquid biopsy within the next generation sequencing is yet increasing, also the laboratories with competencies and experience in this novel technology is still limited. Cukurova University AGENTEM provides an opportunity to do this thesis for liquid biopsy testing by NGS via the multi-gene tumor panel to integrate this technique into the routine clinical laboratory applications and bioinformatics. This thesis is aimed to utilize the next generation sequencing by liquid biopsy in cancer, and to implement into the cancer diagnostics.
