Özet (EN)

ABSTRACT Since the antiquity, the distiction which has been made between the "reasonable" and the "sensible" has brought up many different philosophical theories within. Investigations on the capabilty of the reason and empirics about the "reasonable" has been the subject of this work among the disparities of the theories. However, the antinomies arguement of Kant, has been specifically investigated in this work. Kant named the distinction between the "reasonable" and the "sensible" as "phenomenon" and "noumenon" respectively in his epistemology and, investigated the sufficiency of the reason in overwhelming stuructre of the noumenon area. Rationalism and empricism have been in the claim of providing knowledge about the "unconditioned" by comparasion and deduction along the whole history. Meanwhile, the antinomies arguement is in the claim that the efforts of this two philosophical systems and their derivations are in vain. According to the outcome of the antinomies, the function of the reason out of the borders of the real metaphysics and science ends by a dialectical illusion which is a reserved phenomenon that reason could never avoid. Antinomies appear as the proof of the legacy of the philosophical system which they represent. Antinomies as the production of a critical investigation within itself may be considered as a subject of a further study under the light of the new findings and theories of the new metaphysics and science.
