And they give the name ofinstrument to these tools that they used for making the music. For the reasonthat the wood can be found easily in nature and it is sensitive to soundcommunication and it can be worked easily, these tools that called instrumentare made from wood. In producing Kanun, the physical characteristics of woodmaterials like the weight, hardness, degree of humidity and acoustic should betaken into account. Wood must be dried naturally to 5-7% degree of humidity.Appearance characteristics like color and design of the wood that will be used inproducing Kanun are also important. Growing region and growing conditionsof the trees that will be used in producing Kanun should also be taken account.It is possible to use three kind of varnish like shellac varnish, cellulose varnishand polyester varnish in Kanun.
