Özet (EN)

Architectural buildings built in Anatolia by Gazanfer Ağa, an important representative of the gatekeepers who gained power and prestige as a result of the political organizations in the second half of the 16th century, have an important place in the history of Ottoman architecture, which constitutes a dynamic process. These architect works that appeared as a result of creative moves during this period are the distinctive architect elements of the cities they are in, on the other hand appear as complementary elements of these cities. This thesis aims to grasp the dimension reached by the door master Gazanfer Agha which is based on the architectural activities shaped by the traditional patronage system throughout the historical process. At the same time, we aim to determine the status of these works in the urban area and examine their cultural and spatial interactions and its contributions to ottoman architect accumulation. Gazanfer Agha's intellectual activities were analyzed by determining the properties of structures such as identity, image, representation, function, and by trying to explain the effects on the visibility of the city and its contributions to art history studies.
