Abstract (EN)

Ecological compatibility, proximity to the market, and overproduction of the food industry are among the most important reasons for the production of pepper in the Southern Marmara Region. In our experiment, it was aimed to determine the effects of organic fertilizers on quality and efficiency in two types of paprika (Postal, Fil Kılağı), which are essential and widely grown for our region. Six different organic fertilizers (Vermicompost, Seaweed fertilizer, Leonard fertilizer, Stable manure, Poultry manure, Bat manure) and control group applied in the experiment which was established in Bursa Uludag University, Faculty of Agriculture, Research and Application Farm. The amount of dry matter, pH, carotene, lycopene content, fruit color, fruit flesh thickness, diameter, length, water-soluble dry matter content, average fruit weight and fruit yield parameters of pepper plants were investigated. As a result of the study, the most positive percentage increase in pepper yields was obtained from poultry manure application with%61,85 as againstthe control group application. The best color in terms of fruit color was derived from the fruits of the Postal type of Leonard fertilizer. When the amount of water-soluble dry matter was evaluated, the best result given to the fruits of pepper plants which were applied Vermicompost fertilizer in Postal variety. The thickness of the meat in fruit is an essential criterion for industrial processing, and the most favorable result obtained as 4,76 cm from the fruits of the plants applied seaweed fertilizer. Because of the earlier variety of Postal varieties, better results obtained from the crops. As a result, both the fresh consumption and the criteria for processing have affected the yield and quality parameters of kapya-type pepper plants in organic fertilizers as a result of our evaluation. The content of organic matter due to the low organic content of Turkey's territory is good for the sustainability of the agricultural use of high fertilizer alternative.
